• Test automation as part of your normal work, with Playwright/TypeScript or Cypress/JavaScript. We treat this as a minimum, not a differentiator.
• Solid manual and exploratory testing, web and mobile, with real command of test design techniques: risk-based and context-driven, not scripted-only.
• API testing end to end: happy paths, error contracts, auth and role-based cases, and verification of what actually landed in the database.
• SQL you write yourself, and the ability to say what a query result means.
• Experience building something with AI that keeps working when you are not there: a repeatable procedure others run, project context an agent can rely on, a check that runs on its own and blocks when it fails. Using a chat assistant to draft test cases does not count.
• Comfort inside a codebase: reading it to find where a bug lives, running it locally, changing it when the change is small and clear. You do not need to be a developer.
• Debugging that reaches root cause: DevTools, network tab, logs, and the code itself.
• Understanding of what regulated data means for testing. Real patient data never goes into a test case, a screenshot, a prompt or a bug report.
• Fluent English, written and spoken. The role is client-facing: you will run demos and write reports a client reads.
