Benchmarking: involves comparing your digital health product against industry standards or competitors. It helps identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.

User personas: we'll user personas to represent different user types and their characteristics.

Journey mapping: here we visualize the user's experience from the initial interaction to the completion of a task. It identifies pain points, opportunities, and key touchpoints in the user's journey.

User stories: are concise descriptions of a feature or functionality from an end user's perspective. They focus on the "who," "what," and "why" of a particular requirement.

Roadmapping: this step involves planning the development journey over time, outlining when certain features or milestones will be achieved.

User & stakeholder interviews: Its aim is to gather qualitative insights, preferences, and feedback about the product

TECHNICAL DISCOVERY

We’ll evaluate feasibility, technical challenges, systems architecture, and integrations. We’ll assess your current stack, or  research, and recommend the ideal technologies, third-party providers, and architecture for your project. 

Solution map: this is a visual representation that outlines the proposed technical architecture and design of the solution. It helps in clarifying the overall structure and components of the system.

Technical challenges validation: here we'll validate potential technical challenges or risks associated with the proposed solution. We'll asses the feasibility and viability of the technical approach.

Build vs Buy: this step evaluates whether to build custom solutions in-house or leverage existing third-party tools, frameworks, or services to achieve the desired functionality.

Technical specifications: we'll create a detailed list of technical specifications that outline the features, components, and functionality of the product. These specifications serve as a blueprint for development.

Product development estimation: provides a realistic estimate of the time, effort, and resources required to develop the product. This helps in planning the project timeline and managing expectations.

DESIGN DISCOVERY

We’ll put your users at the center of the design process to build a prototype...
and test it!

User flows: in this step, we illustrate the paths a user may take through a product to achieve a specific goal. It helps in understanding the logical sequence of interactions and user navigation.

Wireframes and mockups: they provide visual representations of the product's layout and structure. Wireframes are low-fidelity representations, while mockups are higher-fidelity, showing a more accurate representation of the final design.

Prototyping: it involves creating interactive, clickable models of the product to simulate user interactions. It allows stakeholders to experience the flow and functionality before actual development.

User interviews & Testing: we'll gather direct feedback from potential users to understand their preferences, expectations, and pain points. The process is carried out iteratively, applying A/B testing techniques, ensuring accessibility and an enhanced user experience. It helps in validating design decisions and making user-centric improvements.

Do I have to buy the whole service from zero to launch, or can you start working on a project at any stage?

I have already built my product with another vendor, but want to continue building it with you. Can you do it?

Yes. We will likely start with a code review to assess the quality of the code, to then continue building on top of what you have.

Can you assist with defining the scope and requirements of my project?

Of course! We’ll help you scope the project during the sales process, and the product strategy phase.

How do I know what the team is working on?
  • We have a shared slack channel between our team and yours.
  • You’ll have access to the Jira board with the progress for each sprint.
  • You’re invited to the sprint plannings, reviews, and daily meetings, in case you want to join!
  • You’ll have recurring meetings with an account manager.
Where is Light-it’s development team located? Who are they?

How do you ensure the quality of the deliverables?

We involve Quality Engineers in all of our projects to test and ensure the best quality possible for all use cases. They conduct thorough testing and follow industry best practices to make sure our products work well and provide a great user experience. 

Who will be the software code's final owner once the project is finished?

Once the development of your software is finished, you’ll have complete ownership of the product.

Do you offer maintenance services after the product is released?

Yes, we offer maintenance services if required.

What happens if I don't want to continue the partnership? Can I cancel later on?

Yes. In the contracts you’ll have a set notice-period to cancel the project.

How do you define the price for my project?
  • We work with Time and Materials contracts, meaning we will charge per hour per professional. 
  • We will estimate the number of hours based on your scope, during the sales process.
  • If you need a different type of contract liked fixed price, please feel free to schedule a consultation.

What is your minimum project size? 

We’re open to discuss projects from all sizes as long as we trust our client’s mission.

What happens if the scope isn't completed within the estimated timeframe, either finishing it before or after the expected deadline?

At Light-it, we work with estimated timelines that allow flexibility for adjustments based on evolving needs or potential challenges. If the project progresses faster than expected, we can incorporate additional scope to enhance the initial plan. If it takes longer, we will maintain clear communication with the client to address any issues and collaboratively determine the focus for the next iteration, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the process.

How do you assure digital health products' privacy, security and risk management?

What legal and medical-legal compliance do you follow?
